Influencer allegedly banned from media famil over Instagram photo

Influencer allegedly banned from media famil over Instagram photo

A French influencer claims she was uninvited on a media famil over a photo she shared on Instagram just a few days before the trip.

Louise Aubery, who boasts more than 250,000 followers on the social media platform, was due to attend a recent media famil with other influencers to L’Île d’Oléron, an island off the west coast of France, organised by the tourist office of La Charente Maritime.

However, Aubery was notified via email only three days later that she had been uninvited from the trip, according to INSIDER.

“Regarding your last Instagram posts, I am sorry to say that our client no longer want you to be a part of that trip,” the email to Aubery reads.

The influencer told INSIDER that it was only after examining her recent Insta posts that she realised her banning was likely due to a photo she posted of herself with a “curvy woman” called Pauline.

The Instagram post that Louise Aubery thinks got her uninvited from a media famil.

“The post was made to help women feel good in their own skin, which is what I fight for on social media,” Aubery said.

It’s been reported that the other influencers on the trip then decided to boycott over Aubery’s ban.

The tourism office of La Charente Maritime has yet to respond to INSIDER’s request for comment.
