Hawai’i Volcano National Park updates

Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park (HAVO) has resumed normal operations, and have re-opened sections of the park that were closed during the government shutdown.

There are still road closures and restrictions in some parts of the park.

Visitor Access to USS Arizona Memorial suspended

Visitor access to the USS Arizona Memorial has been suspended for several months due to safety concerns.

The closure is due to movement of the loading dock and corresponding movement of the loading ramp to the memorial.

While repairs are made, the USS Arizona Memorial will remain closed. Repairs are expected to be completed by March 2019. Updates will be provided on our website and Facebook page.
