The latest in home-sharing: Nudie Airbnb?

A nudist version of Airbnb has arrived for all your naked holidaying needs.

So if you like to get your gear off while on holiday, you should probably check out NaturistBnB.

The website, founded by couple Petri and Minna Karjalainen, is a home sharing platform, just like Airbnb but its targeted at those who prefer to go ‘al naturale’ while on holiday.

“I think it’s a really cool opportunity to go to these interesting cities and meet some like minded people and stay together with them,” Petri Karjalainen told CNN Travel.

The couple decided to start the website after an unsuccessful experience on Airbnb as clothing-optional hosts.

We are dying to know what made it unsuccessful. There is probably a fantastic story involved.

Anyway, the two had always looked for naturist options when booking their own holidays so they figured there must be a market for the idea.

“We started to think it would actually be cool if there was a booking site, just like Airbnb, but dedicated to this lifestyle,” Karjalainen said.

“On our website, all of the properties are targeted for naturist lifestyle practising people.”

With Petri’s experience in managing software businesses, and Minna’s advertising background, the two launched the website two months ago and it already has an impressive range of properties on offer from a range of price points.

The website also features a list of house rules for your nudist destination, for example, guests may be required to carry a towel with them to sit on, instead of sitting directly on a surface, cameras are discouraged, and they even detail what do in case of… arousal.
