Take a look at U by Uniworld’s brand spanking new ship
PSA: U by Uniworld has a new ship, and it’s killer.
The ship in questions is The A, U by Uniworld’s second ship, and started on it’s maiden voyage along the Rhine river in Europe on April 14.
Fiona Dalton, Managing Director U by Uniworld Australia, said that this new ship will, in turn, offer travellers a completely new river cruising experience through the stunning Rhine, Main and Danube rivers, which flow through the Netherlands and Central Europe.
Sounds pretty good right?
“We’re thrilled that our second U by Uniworld ship has officially set sail on the Rhine today,” she said.
“U continues to bring adventurous and curious travellers a completely new river cruise experience, with longer stays in destinations to allow guests the chance to truly immerse themselves in the local culture.”
“It’s a way to experience these incredible destinations like never before.”
The A is sleek, sophisticated, and can carry up to 120 of your closest friends.
Whilst on board, guests can take part in unique inclusions, such as mixology classes, silent discos, yoga, wine tastings, farm-to-table dining and more.
Offshore, guests can experience some of U by Uniworld’s cultural, immersive excursions like an evening tour in a medieval castle; a foodie tour through the Jordaan district of Amsterdam; strolling through Keukenhof’s tulip gardens; and a scenic bike tour and wine tasting at Eberbach Monastery, used as a filming location for Game of Thrones.
Then return back to the ship for some killer food and drink, obviously.
U by Uniworld’s dining experiences bring a taste of each destination onboard, utilising ingredients from the local markets and inspired by the fares of the cities that are visited along the way.
From comfort food to organic, healthy options, U by Uniworld’s master chefs accommodate every type of palate in an innovative and flavourful way.
But seriously, just look at this bar where you can sample a delicious taste of wherever you’re cruising through that day:
Boasting four suites, 26 balcony bedrooms, 29 studio bedrooms and two studios bedrooms with triple occupancy – all accommodation options on The A are equipped with waterfront views, flat screen TV’s, built-in Bluetooth speakers, various USB ports and more.
Meaning you won’t find any nosebleed rooms with no windows or happiness to be seen.
And if that wasn’t enough, U by Uniworld also offers organic BeeKind amenities in all rooms, uses WhatsApp and email for internal communication with guests, displays menus on screens in the bar and restaurant, and has a Press Reader app for guests to receive news onboard.

Obviously, you’re now researching when you can take work off to cruise, so sailings on The A start at $262 per person, per day, with eight-day itineraries offered along the Rhine, Main and Danube rivers.
