Qatar Airways Marks Breast Cancer Awareness Month with Limited Edition Pink Amenity Kits
Special limited edition pink amenity kits are now being offered to Qatar Airways’ First and Business Class passengers to mark the airline’s continuing support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Each passenger flying long-haul in First Class and Business Class will be presented with a luxury amenity bag created exclusively for Qatar Airways by stylish Italian luggage brand BRIC’S, in a carefully chosen shade of pink called ‘Rose Pompadour’.
Every one of the highly-sought after amenity kits, designed for men and women, will be accompanied by a specially created card urging customers to Think Pink! and encouraging them to support the fight against breast cancer.
Qatar Airways has long supported Breast Cancer Awareness month with the airline’s staff playing their part to help beat the disease. As well as being encouraged to wear pink during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, many Qatar Airways employees will be taking part in a number of initiatives to alert staff to the dangers of the disease and generate funds towards fighting breast cancer.
LATAM’s in-flight experience recognised in international awards
LATAM Airlines Group was named as a ‘Five Star Global Airline’ for its in-flight experience in the APEX 2018 Airlines Official Ratings, announced in Long Beach, California on September 25, 2017.
LATAM was one of two carriers in Latin America and one of only three in the Americas to be given this accolade, the highest ranking for ‘global airlines’ with a large number of wide-body aircraft and extensive international network.
The APEX airline ratings rank in-flight experience based on independently assessed passenger feedback with criteria including overall experience, seat comfort, cabin service, food and beverage, entertainment and Wi-Fi. Between October 24, 2016 and July 31, 2017, passengers rated more than 500,000 flights of over 470 airlines worldwide.
Emirates marks 15th year of connecting Japan to the world
In October 2002, Emirates became the first airline to link Japan and the Gulf region with non-stop flights when it introduced its four-times-per-week service to Osaka. Now serving three points in Japan daily, Emirates, the world’s largest international airline, has carried over 3.9 million passengers in 15 years of service to Japan.

Qatar Airways is pleased to announce it will launch flights to the cultural capital of Russia, St. Petersburg, later this year, doubling the Russian routes operated by the five-star carrier. The new daily service, which starts on 19 December 2017, will operate between Doha and St. Petersburg with an Airbus A320, offering 12 flatbed seats in Business Class and 120 seats in Economy Class.
Qatar Airways Cargo has also taken delivery of its thirteenth Boeing 777 freighter at its home base at Doha’s Hamad International Airport (HIA). Continuing its trajectory of rapid growth and expansion, the world’s third largest international cargo carrier’s fleet now includes 22 freighters, comprising eight Airbus A330F, 13 Boeing 777F and one Boeing 747-8F.
ANA Updated Fare Sheet to Japan
All Nippon Airways have introduced new fare changes, including updated fares to Japan, effective from 16th October 2017.
Updates are:
– Fare adjustments
– NH Japan Domestic booking class adjustments (Travel date on/after 01OCT2018)
– VA Booking class adjustments
The Japan domestic booking class will be the same as the international booking class from 01OCT2018 for economy class. For example, if the “outbound date is on/before 30SEP2018” and “inbound date is on/after 01OCT2018” in the same PNR, then the booking must be made with the applicable classes.

Cathay Pacific celebrates 25 years of service to Adelaide

- Cathay Pacific’s commitment to the city is also evident through its partnership with Port Adelaide Football Club. In May this year, the airline flew the team to Shanghai for the first AFL game outside Australia and New Zealand.
LATAM Airlines Group reports preliminary monthly statistics for August 2017
LATAM Airlines Group S.A. and its subsidiaries, the leading airline group in Latin America, today reported its preliminary monthly traffic statistics for August 2017 compared to August 2016.
System passenger traffic increased by over two per cent, while capacity rose by over one per cent. As a result, the Company’s load factor for the month increased 0.7 points to 84.5 per cent. International passenger traffic accounted for approximately 57 per cent of the month’s total passenger traffic.
