The best photo-booth GIFs from the Hawai’i Roadshow

The first leg of Hawai’i Tourism Oceania’s Aloha Down Under Roadshow kicked off in Brisbane on Monday, and these GIFs will make you wish you were there.

Aloha Down Under will see over 1,100 travel agents meet with 25 Hawaiian exhibitors across Australia and New Zealand.

Monday’s lucky attendees experienced a traditional Hawaiian hula performed by representatives from the Polynesian Cultural Centre, plus a bunch of other fun experiences – did we mention the photobooth?

One of the best things about Hawaii Tourism is the wide range of experiences across the six islands of O‘ahu, Maui, Moloka‘i, Lāna‘i, Kaua‘i and the Island of Hawai‘i.

And with the Aussie dollar recently hitting a two-year high, there’s no better time to book a Hawaii holiday (it should look a little like these photo booth GIFs).

Speaking at the roadshow, Australian Country Manager for Hawai’i Tourism Oceania (HTO), Kerri Anderson, said the latest statistics released by the Hawai‘i Tourism Authority revealed that Aussie travellers were spending more and travelling further afield during their Hawai’i holiday.

“Aussies stay in Hawai’i an average of 9.5 nights and spend around US$2561 per person per trip,” she said.

“This makes us one of Hawaii’s longest staying markets. Aussies are also travelling more between the islands and this year we’ve seen a six percent increase in multi-island,” she said.

“One of HTO’s key objectives is to tell Australians that Hawai‘i has so much more to offer beyond the expectation of sun, sand and sea and showcase the depth and breadth of experiences across our neighbour islands.

“Coupled with our phenomenal 48 per cent repeat visitor rate, these results indicate that Aussies are regarding Hawai‘i as much more than a ‘fly, flop and shop’ holiday destination, returning again and again to experience everything the islands have to offer,” Anderson said.

The roadshow’s five-day program continues throughout the week across Melbourne, Sydney, Auckland and Christchurch.

Alright, not check out these amazing GIFs!! And if your computer is stupid and slow you might be able to load them faster here.

Ed’s note: let them load if they don’t move straight away. GIFs = big, big files.
