TripAdvisor names world’s most booked hotels
TripAdvisor today announced the most booked hotels in Australia and the world, and the results may surprise you!
The travel review and planning website has unveiled the top three in Australia, Europe and the world, as well as starting from prices for each hotel and past guests reviews.
In Australia, the number one most booked hotel was Rydges Sydney Airport Hotel in Mascot, namely for its proximity to the airport.
In America, it was a Best Western at the Grand Canyon, and in Europe, the winner was well-located Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland.
Check out the lists below, as well as the top three for Singapore and Indonesia too.
Australia:
- Rydges Sydney Airport Hotel: Mascot
From $233 per night
“Two min walk to international terminal, with a free shuttle to link to/from domestic terminal. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Nice restaurant with excellent service. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good value for money.”
- Four Seasons Hotel Sydney: Central Sydney
From $308 per night
Great staff, great location and the team make it feel like home. I have been staying here for over 10 years and always love coming back. The views of the Harbour, The Opera House and Bridge are amazing.
- The Langham: Melbourne
From $213 per night
“Second stay here, was given an unexpected upgrade, 5 Star all the way. Beautiful clean room, excellent facilities, Room service dinner & breakfast buffet above par. Chuan Day Spa was an amazing pampering experience”.
Worldwide:
- Best Western Premier Grand Canyon Squire Inn: Tusayan, United States
From $406 per night
“Great hotel. Very clean and friendly service. Nicely renovated huge rooms with great amenities. Very close to canyon and has a bowling alley. Nice indoor and outdoor pool. Good choice of restaurants. Breakfast was very good and reasonable.”
- Park Lane Hotel: New York City, United States
From $374 per night
“What an amazing place. Great price super location. Staff fab! Loved it. Great daily reception snacks were good. Room was much larger than I expected. This will be my hotel pick next time I am in NYC.”
- Yavapai Lodge, Grand Canyon National Park, United States
From $248 per night
“Wow! What an amazing experience at the Grand Canyon. This lodge is inside the park, which is great because you do not need to drive in or take a shuttle every day to get to the park. There are two shuttle stops right outside the doors of this lodge, and the main general store of the park is right next door!
“The lodge itself was very clean and had two great places to eat. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially since it was our first trip to the park. Highly recommend.”
Europe:
- The Croke Park: Dublin, Ireland
From $365 per night
“Really a lovely hotel with the stadium across the street. Nice rooms, well-stocked and comfortable beds. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. Good food and a fabulous bar area. Easy walk to O’Connell Street and the Temple Bar area. Highly recommend this hotel!”
- The Montague on The Gardens: London, United Kingdom
From $532 per night
“Great location next to the British Museum-close to buses, taxis and tube stations. Staff could not have been more helpful! Great bar and restaurant. Breakfast buffet was a great start to the day! Room was clean and well maintained during our stay.”
- Absalon Hotel: Copenhagen, Denmark
From $338 per night
“A wonderful boutique hotel in the central area of Copenhagen, excellent customer service, great breakfasts included. Easy walks to fine dining and attractions. The entire hotel staff is attentive and helpful, the Barman, Victor, was excellent in helping us with dining suggestions, etc.”
