Three ways to see the Mediterranean

Kas, Turkey - May 17, 2016: Two young women walking on the Kaputas beach, Antalya, Turkey.

The Mediterranean is a destination that always delivers. Villages on cliffs, beaches with a sole bistro with fish and octopus hanging from lines, historic ruins and culture that wrote western tradition.

So we’ve narrowed it down to the three best ways to experience the Med, and what you can present to your clients.

BY CRUISE

One of the Mediterranean’s best known cruise operators, MSC cruises, has launched their newest ship into the fleet by June 2018, the MSC Seaview.

“It is part of an industry-unprecedented ten-year €9 billion investment plan,” MSC Cruises executive chairman Pierfrancesco Vago said.

She will sail the Western Mediterranean in her inaugural summer season. There will be a beach condo concept and the highest ratio of outdoor spaces at sea.

BY SMALL GROUP AND PRIVATE JOURNEY

Inspired by the last few pages? Ormina Tours will make it easy to sell these destination wonders to clients, with itineraries to both Malta and Croatia.

Malta is their hot pick for 2017, and they offer a five day Malta private journey taking in Valletta, Gozo and Mdina with all the history and nature that goes along with it.

The 14-day Adriatic Beauty is a small group journey that visits Croatia, Italy and Montenegro as well as the Plitvice Lakes. Priced from $6590 it travels from Dubrovnik to Venice.

BY ESCORTED TOUR

Is there such a thing as unexplored Europe? If there is, lets line up the Balkans front and centre. Trafalgar has a 12-day Balkan Delight tour that takes in three countries and eight cities.

Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro are on the agenda, with visits to Sarajeva War Tunnels and the aforementioned Plitvice Lakes. With an early payment discount, clients will pay from $3006.
