Andrew Gallard appointed GM of Flight Centre Global Product

Andrew Gallard has been appointed at the new General Manager of Flight Centre Global Product (FCGP) – Corporate.

Gallard brings 16 years of experience with Flight Centre Travel Group to the role, including the past four years in FCGP Corporate.

He will head up teams based in Australia and North America to oversee all hotel and car channel distribution.

The role will involve identifying strategic opportunities to further enhance land product sales across all of Flight Centre Travel Group’s corporate businesses, through effective land supplier partnerships. He will also provide detailed and focused product management to FCGP Corporate’s preferred hotel suppliers.

One of FCGP’s most respected Product Managers, Gallard will be responsible for procurement of leisure hotel contracts across Asia from 2008, prior to taking up the position of Area Leader Procurement FCGP South in 2012.

Gallard comes from his recent role leading the global procurement team with a track record of innovation and success. He transformed the corporate travel industry with the negotiation and implementation of Flight Centre Travel Group’s exclusive SmartSTAY and SmartDRIVE corporate programs, the first product marketing initiatives of their kind worldwide.
