Clients to rush into agencies for Travelmarvel booking

Travel agents are expected to reap the rewards of Travelmarvel’s investment in a new advertising campaign to promote European river cruising.

Designed to support Travelmarvel’s ‘Live Your Dream in 2016’ sale, the series of 15 and 30 second commercials were launched yesterday.

The adverts will run across Channel Seven, Nine and Ten, and their corresponding secondary channels in Victoria, NSW, Western Australia and Queensland. Consumers will be able to view the adverts from late afternoon to evening on weekdays, and also throughout the day over the weekends for the full two weeks of the campaign.

The campaign was designed to help agents secure last minute sales for the 2016 European river cruise season, and also to encourage enquiries for 2017 departures, according to the company.

Commenting on the investment in TV advertising, Travelmarvel General Manager David Cox said, “We want to ensure that guests are aware that there is still the chance to secure great last minute savings on our remaining European river cruising in 2016. Most importantly, if they are thinking about booking a journey, we want to ensure they do so via one of our valued trade partners. This campaign helps us to achieve both goals.”

Other destinations on sale include Vietnam & Cambodia, China, India, Canada & Alaska, South America, Africa, New Zealand and Tasmania.

The ‘Live Your Dream in 2016’ sale runs until 8 April 2016.
