Before the famed musician was set to play a sold-out crowd at Vbase’s Horncastle Arena, the Christchurch event and venue company engineered a surprised performed for its client Conference Innovators.

“Our mantra is ‘we make life more eventful’, and we wanted to show this in action,” Vbase sales and marketing manager Janelle Brooking says.

Janelle and Vbase national business development manager Catherine Lee went on the hunt for an Ed look-and-sound-alike, a surprised Conference Innovators at their Christchurch office. It was here they broke the news that the team of 10 from Conference Innovators were going to see the real Ed.

“The expressions on their faces said it all.”

Vbase is promising to share more surprise moments like this one.
