Sydney Swans greats announced for Crown Princess cruise
Edited by Travel Weekly

Princess Cruises has partnered with the Sydney Swans to offer fans the first-ever AFL Member cruise aboard Crown Princess.

This four-night voyage to Tasmania departs January 25, 2025 and guests will be able to immerse themselves in a once-in-a-lifetime Sydney Swans experience featuring special events and activities dedicated to fans.

The cruise will feature Sydney Swans greats Josh Kennedy and Ted Richards, AFLW coach Scott Gowans and CEO Tom Harley, along with other past and present players.

Harley said it’s a wonderful opportunity for fans to travel with the team.

“Our team travels together across the football season, but rarely do we have the opportunity to holiday together,” he said.

“Being able to travel on board the luxurious Crown Princess with our Swans family is a fantastic chance for us to get together, share stories, and talk footy in a relaxed and unique setting.”

For Princess Cruises, the idea for a Sydney Swans cruise was an opportunity too good to pass up.

Princess Cruises President John Padgett said, “We’re proud of this partnership with the Sydney Swans and excited to create unforgettable moments at sea for our guests with these AFL heroes.”

The special cruise includes an array of experiences and opportunities for members to mingle with the Sydney Swans including a cocktail party, interactive talks with team greats, a group fitness class, and more.

While this is an exclusive event for Sydney Swans members, the cruise is open to all, and guests don’t have to be member to join in the fun.

Prices for this once-in-a-lifetime experience start from $899 per person twin share including Princess Plus package, which includes unlimited Wi-Fi, Plus Beverage Package, premium desserts, fitness classes, casual dining and OceanNow delivery.
