I Wake up with Today in Peru!

Channel Nine’s Today Show will be broadcasting live from Peru all of next week.

Steve Jacobs will be presenting the weather and travelling with Scenic Tours to discover the highlights of the Peruvian Highlands.

Steve will be doing six crosses per morning starting on Monday 16 March and will air from some incredible locations.

Monday he will spend the day in the historic city of Cuzco exploring several of the city’s sights including the Cathedral of Santo Domingo and the Coricancha Sun Temple before crossing from Pisac in the Sacred Valley on Tuesday, where he will visit the colourful markets and the ruins set high above the valley.

Wednesday Steve will cross live from Ollantaytambo fortress and town, the oldest continuously occupied settlement in the Americas, where he will visit the local community and school supported by Scenic Tours; Thursday and Friday he will be live from Machu Picchu, the pre-Columbian Inca citadel on a mountain ridge high above the Urubamba Valley.
