CLIA announces key cruise events

CLIA announces key cruise events
By admin

The dates for Cruise3sixty and the Cruise Industry Awards have been announced by Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) Australasia for late February next year.

In a bumper weekend, the two major cruise events will both be held at the revamped Star Event Centre, Sydney, and have been organised over consecutive days to make it easier for those travelling from interstate or overseas to attend.

CLIA Australasia general manager Brett Jardine said following the successful debut in Sydney this year, Cruise3sixty Australasia will return on Friday 27 February, featuring a line-up of senior cruise industry executives and keynote speakers.

Attendees will also have the chance to meet with cruise line representatives and other significant cruise industry suppliers during a business-oriented trade show.

Hoping to take it to a whole new level in 2015, Jardine said they have listened to feedback received from 2014 to ensure “we deliver a must-attend.”

CLIA is working with the Port Authority of NSW to next year deliver an optional Saturday morning tour of Sydney’s cruise terminals including the revamped Overseas Passenger Terminal and White Bay.

Cruise3sixty tickets can be purchased online at www.cruising.org.au/cruise3sixty.asp with CLIA members receiving discounted entry at $295. Non-CLIA Members are welcome to attend.

The 12th Annual Cruise Industry Awards will follow Cruise3sixty on Saturday 28 February, also to be held at the Star Event Centre,

More information will be released on both events in the coming months.
