In a glitzy affair fit for the Grand Dame of Sydney hotels, The Menzies Sydney revealed the half a million dollar refurbishment of its Australia Ballroom.

The rejuvenated Ballroom was enjoyed by over 200 people, including corporate clients and media, decked out in full glory of event offerings.

The Ballroom has a capacity for up to 500 people, and now boasts new carpeting, paintwork, furniture and lighting, all tastefully designed to still retaining its historical elegant charm with touches such as chandeliers.

The refurbishment also features the installation of Fairchild’s ‘SeeMe Now’ e-concierge tablet, allowing event organisers to easily communicate requirements to the hotel staff with the touch of a button through re-installed requests such as AV equipment, air-conditioning and lights control.

The Ballroom ads to the 15 flexible functions rooms at The Menzies Sydney, proving they can cater for conference and events at all levels.

Located near Sydney’s famous attractions including The Rocks and Opera House, The Menzies Sydney boasts 446 beautifully-appointed guestrooms, two restaurants, four bars, a gymnasium and an indoor heated pool. The hotel overlooks Wynyard Park and is in a prime location with restaurants, boutique shops and theatres surrounding.
