China Southern goes mad for a good cause
By admin

China Southern Airlines joined some of Australia’s most influential at the Cure Brain Cancer annual gala charity event.

The event, which was themed as the Mad Hatter’s ball, saw Sydney’s most generous dance the night away in the wonderland styled setting at The Royal Hall of Industries, to support DR Charlie Teo’s world renowned endeavours to cure brain cancer.

China Southern Airlines partnered with Accor Hotels to provide an auction prize that included business class flights to Guangzhou and on to New York, with accommodation at the Sofitel Hotels in both destinations, as well as tickets to the Billy Joel concert in NYC and a meeting with the piano man himself. The prize was auctioned for $28,000 which contributed to the $1.1million that was raised for the cause on the night.
