Travel Partners WA support recent Relay For Life
By admin

The Travel Partners Western Australia team did the company proud recently, when they donated generously to The Cancer Council’s 15th annual Relay For Life.

The Travel Partners team contributed a $1000 travel voucher to the event as part of their raffles draw, which raised $13,000 for The Cancer Council.

Held at the start of May at the WA Athletics Stadium in Mt Claremont, the event saw more than 1500 participants walk the track for up to 24 hours, all in support of those affected by cancer.

As ongoing supporters of Cancer research, WA Travel Partners Daniela Tatonetti, Rhett Martini, Jill Wilkinson, Andrea Beck and Carolyn McBride, decided to contribute to this worthy cause in the hopes of making some difference.

The team also hope to encourage other travel agents and travellers to get on board and support The Cancer Council.

“We’ve all been directly and indirectly affected by the disease, so it’s in our interest to provide as much support and raise as much awareness as we can,” said Travel Partner, Rhett Martini.

“This is our first year contributing to Relay for Life as a Travel Partners WA team and we will be looking at creating a team to do the walk next year and the years to come.”
