AAT Kings puts focus on experiences

By admin

AAT Kings has launched its new-look Australia program as it attempts to revitalise the business.

The release of the 2014/15 brochure follows the re-launch last week of the coach operator's brand.

Among the new product is a fly-around guided holiday of the east coast while it has partnered with Great Walks of Australia in Tasmania.

"To help bring Australia to life we've gone to great lengths to unearth new and unique ways for people to discover their own backyard," AAT Kings managing director Anthony Hayes said.

Tours include a 10-day Sydney, Reef and Rainforest guided holiday which takes in Hamilton Island, Cairns, Port Douglas and the Great Barrier Reef, while food and wine tourism will feature in a range of tours.

Hayes said tours would provide guests with unique experiences as it looks to "peel back the layers" of destinations.

Experiences include a traditional Aboriginal 'smoking' ceremony, a walk with an indigenous expert through Mossman Gorge and a visit to a working sheep farm near Canberra.

AAT Kings has also introduced the You're Invited concept used by its sister brand, Trafalgar, with a guided tour through Bondi Life Surfing Club.

Early payments discounts of 7.5% are available for bookings paid in full by January 27.
