Travel Counsellors ramps up recruitment drive

Travel Counsellors ramps up recruitment drive
By admin

The latest phase of Travel Counsellor's global recruitment drive has seen the retail firm unveil a new short film which aims to communicate life as one of its agents.

The film features three agents from across the globe talking about their individual experiences of working for the company, giving it a "personal" touch, according to managing director Steve Byrne.

"As a result it fits neatly within our key company message that 'with us it's personal'," he said.

"We are very keen to recruit talented travel professionals and we feel that this new film is a great way to engage with potential recruits."

Head of global recruitment, Simon Burke, revealed that recruitment levels are at record levels on the back of global growth in agent commissions averaging 12%.

"However, we are still keen to grow, and are very keen to recruit talented travel professionals for both our leisure and business divisions," he said.

The film will be pushed out via social media channels in order to spread the word, with Travel Counsellors confident it will "strike a chord" within the industry.

It follows the launch last week of a new consumer website dedicated to the Australian market, and the release of a consumer brand film earlier this year along with a new recruitment website.
