Etihad has signed an initial Memorandum of Understanding with the Serbian Government to explore a potential equity investment in its national carrier, JatAirways.

The decision to invest will depend on the successful completion of a comprehensiv due diligence process and all necessary regulatory and board approvals, the Abu Dhabi-based airline confirmed.

It launched daily flights between Abu Dhabi and Belgrade on June 15.

 

Travel agents booking Oman Air via Travelport's Galileo and Worldspan distribution systems can now manage "live and interactive" seat selection with the launch of a new functionality.

The new Interactive Seat Assignment tool allows agents to request seat maps and assign, change or cancel specific seats in a real-time environment.

 

Sabre Pacific has appointed Naomi Miller, formerly of Jetset Travelworld Group, as its new marketing and communications manager.

 

Katie Benson has been named as the chief executive and executive director of newly formed Langham Hospitality Investments Limited.

The publicly listed company, of which Great Eagle Holdings Ltd is the majority shareholder, has been created to own and invest in a portfolio of hotels with initial focus on Asia.

The asset portfolio currently consists of three hotels: The Langham, Hong Kong; Langham Place, Mongkok; and Eaton, Hong Kong.
