A&K taps into changing patterns

A&K taps into changing patterns
By admin

A change in travelling patterns has led Abercrombie & Kent to launch a new series of shorter duration product.

The upmarket operator has released Escapes, a collection of tours to Asia, the Indian Ocean and Australasia.

Itineraries range in duration from four to a maximum of eight days.

"Our market research is indicating a change in travelling patterns," A&K managing director Sujata Raman said. "We identified a niche and the opportunity to deliver a new and exciting product.

"All are close to home and none [of the itineraries] are more than eight days' duration. In today's busy world, travellers often intersperse longer holidays with quick breaks. This collection is designed for busy individuals to easily identify and plan their perfect escape."

Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Maldives, Cambodia, Sri Lanka and Indonesia are all featured with product including beach breaks, family adventures and food and wine trips.
