Coral Expeditions inaugural Asia sailings filling up fast

Coral Expeditions’ Asia itineraries have had a very warm reception since their launch into market earlier this year. Feedback from guests has focused on the sailings’ appeal to exploring parts of South East Asia that are only accessible by small ship.

The new Coral Expeditions itineraries will chart the diverse coastlines of Myanmar, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia. Highlights of the program include 12 nights Singapore to Yangon (or v.v.), 12 nights Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi and 17 nights Singapore to Darwin, with pricing from $13,595 per person. (Price quoted is Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi).

Princess Cruises’ Australian team walked the red carpet at the premiere of the film Captain Fantastic last night as part of the cruise line’s partnership with the Sydney Film Festival.

The local team enjoyed pre-screening VIP cocktails at Town Hall’s Festival Hub before moving to the State Theatre for the Australian premiere of the family comedy-drama starring Viggo Mortensen.

This is the third year Princess has been involved with the festival, with the partnership bolstering the line’s red carpet credentials which include the Travelling Film Festival at Sea and ever-popular Movies Under The Stars.

Royal Caribbean’s Adventure of the Seas to undergo us$61m revitalization

Royal Caribbean International will debut a robust array of new thrills and enhancements onboard Adventure of the Seas this November, including new dual racer waterslides, Cyclone and Typhoon, the popular FlowRider surf simulator, and a children’s aquapark, Splashaway Bay. In addition, guests will enjoy a new line-up of culinary and entertainment venues with Izumi Japanese Cuisine, the brand’s signature steakhouse, Chops Grille, and Boleros Latin Lounge. The ship also will receive more than 100 new staterooms, a refresh of all existing staterooms and a brand new Suites Lounge for the luxury traveller.

The reinvented Adventure is Royal Caribbean’s fifth ship to undergo revitalization, and at US$61 million this will be one of the brand’s largest investments. The massive project will introduce some of the trademark innovations the cruise line is known for, bringing the best of Royal Caribbean onboard.
