    Vale Julie Urbanski Nash

    Julie Urbanski Nash, of Port to  Port Travel (helloworld Associate member), has passed away after a long battle with cancer.

    Julie passed away on Wednesday February 4 2015, having spent a significant period of her life working in the travel industry.

    Julie started in travel in the late 70’s in the heady days of going to London and learning the ropes with Auto Tours. After travelling through Europe and the States, she returned back to Auto Tours office in Martin Place as a Sales Executive visiting Agencies around the Sydney/Canberra/South Coast region of NSW.

    Moving onto Lucciano Travel in Surrey Hills, she then enjoyed a long stint at Travel Specialists in Sydney city.  In 1997, Julie moved to Port Douglas for a sea change managing the Port Douglas Visitors Bureau.

    Not long after, she started Port to Port Travel in Port Douglas and in 1999, moved the business to Rose Bay, in 2012 she then relocated Port to Port Travel.

    Julie is highly respected for her professionalism, empathy, great sense of humour and fun.  She is hugely missed by her family, colleagues and friends – many of whom are in the extended travel industry family.

    A funeral service will be held for Julie Fri today on the Gold Coast.
