Utah hits Aussie shores once again

The Utah Office of Tourism has returned to Aussie and Kiwi shores to update the trade and link up agents with industry partners.

Utah was joined by returning regional partners from Greater Zion, Bryce Canyon, Kanab (Kane County), Park City as well as first-time market visitors from Moab (Grand County), Visit Salt Lake and Cedar City/ Brian Head.

The Utahans talked to travel advisors and tour operators about significant tourism product development across the state including Open Sky Zion, Yonder Escalante, Bryce Canyon Glamp & Camp, Evo Hotel Salt Lake City, The Gonzo Moab, Camp Sarika, Rocky Mountaineer Rockies to Red Rocks.

The state remained committed across the pandemic to the Australian market and is currently tracking 5 per cent ahead of its competitive set of other US states in the return of international visitors.

Utah is also predicted to outpace the rest of the US in spending growth, with forecasted growth of 7.6 per cent for Utah and 3 per cent for the US by 2025 relative to 2019 numbers.
