TripAdvisor reveals world’s top beaches for 2019

The Americas are unanimously home to the best beaches in the world, according to the TripAdvisor’s Travellers’ Choice Awards.

The company’s list of top 25 beaches in the world for 2019 had only two beaches outside of North, Central and South America, and the Caribbean, in the top 10.

  1. Baia do Sancho – Fernando de Noronha, Brazil
  2. Varadero Beach – Varadero, Cuba
  3. Eagle Beach – Palm – Eagle Beach, Aruba
  4. La Concha Beach –San Sebastián, Spain
  5. Grace Bay Beach – Providenciales, Turks and Caicos
  6. Clearwater Beach – Clearwater, Florida
  7. Spiaggia dei Conigli – Sicily, Italy
  8. Seven Mile Beach – Seven Mile Beach, Cayman Islands
  9. Playa Norte – Isla Mujeres, Mexico
  10. Seven Mile Beach – Negril, Jamaica

Baia do Sancho, Brazil, was voted TripAdvisor’s Travellers’ Choice Awards best beach in the world for 2019.

Sydney’s Manly Beach was Australia’s top-ranked beach in 18th, while Surfers Paradise Beach on the Gold Coast was the only other local beach to make the top 25, coming in 23rd place.

TripAdvisor awarded 352 beaches overall, including dedicated lists for Africa, Asia, Europe, South America, Australia, Central America, Middle East, South Pacific, Caribbean, Brazil, Costa Rica, France, Germany, Greece, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Portugal, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, the UK, and the US.
