Travel Counsellors to host mini-conferences

Travel Counsellors to host mini-conferences

Travel Counsellors is hosting three mini-conferences over the next two weeks to bring its family of agents together.

The events will highlight the array of new developments and initiatives TC will be rolling out to support its Travel Counsellors to successfully run their business from home.

Taking place in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, the conferences will see almost 75% of all Travel Counsellors in attendance and will include a series of presentations and sessions from company staff and management, including those from both the Australian support team and UK head office.

These sessions will cover areas including upcoming marketing activity, business development and a focus on margin.

Commercial director Kirsten Hughes will provide a main focus on the benefits of the company’s in-house booking system, Phenix, which puts agents in control of the products they sell and the margin they make. A few exciting announcements on how the system will evolve in 2016 will also be unveiled.

Australia’s MD David Hughes added that the events are essential to share the prospects of the future.

“As a company we never sit still and are also working on ways in which we can enhance the support we offer to our agents, helping them build successful travel businesses with the back-up of a truly global company,” he said.

“We are confident our Travel Counsellors will leave the conferences feeling motivated, inspired and excited by the many initiatives we will be sharing. It’s also a great way for our agents to come together, catch up and celebrate in the company’s ongoing success.”

Travel Counsellors will also be inviting travel professionals from outside of the company to attend the event and learn more about the business, as well as giving them the opportunity to meet and talk with head office staff and Travel Counsellor agents.

“This is a great opportunity for those who may be considering making the move to run their own travel business to learn more about what life is like as a Travel Counsellor and get a real flavor of our unique culture and ethos,” Hughes added.

“We encourage anyone interested to come along.”

The Conferences will take place in Melbourne on September 10, Sydney on September 14 and Brisbane on September 15. For further details please call 03 9034 7075 or email connect@travelcounsellors.com.au.
