Rule #2: Millennials are the future

Rule #2: Millennials are the future

Babyboomers have more cash, everyone knows that.

But the travel industry will soon be over run with requests from the youngest, most passionate travellers we’ve ever seen. But how can you make sure you’re ready to tap into travel’s newest river of gold? Are you ready to follow the rules?

The generation of tech-savvy travellers are fast becoming a more complex and higher purchasing market player, with travel brands now chasing their tail to find new ways to tap into the lucrative sector, but they still have a long way to go, according to experts in the field.

And travel agents need to get smarter and faster if they want to survive the apocalypse that is coming.

Research has tracked the growing desire of both Millennials and Gen Xers to boost the level of interaction while jetsetting, with 53% of 18-34 year olds saying they would like to connect socially with other passengers while travelling.

But millennials are still using agents so hope is not lost.

If you want to get your head in the game and your dollar sign higher, there’s one thing you can do that will guarantee success.

Attend Travel DAZE. How easy is that?

This forum thingy is the first of its kind to be held in Australia – and will feature a high calibre of local and international speakers.

It’s open to everyone who is keen to be enlightened! The format is inspired by TED with a series of rapid 18 minute stories for a wide spread of ideas and panel debates on topics that keep marketers & senior management awake at night.
