He spent eight years in the cabin of one of the most famous aircraft in the world.

But, now that he is no longer president, there’s no Air Force One for Barack Obama.

That doesn’t mean he’s slumming it in economy on a commercial flight from the United States, however.

There’s ample seating for the couple to plan such things as Michelle’s run for President.

The Obama’s arrived at Sydney International Airport on Saturday evening, just before 630pm.

Aviation photographer, Grahame Hutchison shared images of its arrival on Twitter.

Barack and Michelle were flying in a Bombardier Global 6000 aircraft operated by Solairus Aviation, a charter company based in California.

According to aviation charter websites, the aircraft can carry 13 passengers, has an espresso machine and even boasts a DVD player.

A comfortable bed, with perhaps a cop of Rage by Bob Woodward placed on top.

More importantly, it has secure high speed internet.

If you want one, they sell for anywhere between US$30 – US$60 million.

It darted into Sydney, clocking speeds of over 900 kph (ground speed), at a height of 43,000ft.

President Obama is in Sydney as part of a global speaking tour, and will be appearing at the International Convention Centre alongside Julie Bishop on Tuesday night.
