PEPR Agency joins Enthral, The Precinct Studios onboard Virgins PR and content roster

Sydney, Australia, November 8, 2014 a Boeing 737-800 in Virgin Australia colour scheme taking off from Sydney (Kingsford Smith) Airport on a late afternoon. The plane is bound for Gold coast Queensland

Virgin Australia has appointed travel and tourism specialists, PEPR Agency, to lead its Australian media famil program, joining ENTHRAL and The Precinct Studios, on the airline’s PR and content roster.

PEPR will be responsible for facilitating a dedicated media famil program across Virgin Australia’s extensive domestic and international network which comprises more than 38 destinations. As part of the work, PEPR will develop bespoke itineraries to showcase popular destination experiences, in-air and on-ground product and services and ancillary offerings, along with the airline’s Velocity Frequent Flyer loyalty program, which now boasts more than 11.5million members – the equivalent of one member in every Australian household.

The account will be overseen by Philip Engelberts, PEPR Agency Founder and Director, with day-to-day management dually handled by Agency Partner and Account Director Anna Mansfield and Account Director Chloe Curtis. The team will be supported by Account Manager Nicole Tapster.

PEPR Agency Partner and Director Anna Mansfield said: “Partnering with Virgin Australia is a massive coup for PEPR, and we could not be more pleased to have joined the airline’s agency roster. We like to think it’s a natural fit for us being travel PR specialists, and because of our collaboration history with Virgin Australia on behalf of some of our destination clients over the last 18-months.

“This included the relaunch of Virgin Australia’s international flights to Fiji (Tourism Fiji), Queenstown (Destination Queenstown) and, most recently, to promote wellness in Bali (COMO Hotels & Resorts). We’re absolutely thrilled to be part of the airline’s expansive transformation and look forward to the ‘wonderful’ journey ahead!”

Virgin Australia will continue to work with Enthral on BAU public relations campaigns and The Precinct Studios.

Virgin Australia has undergone an incredibly successful transformation over the past two years, introducing 27 new aircraft (nearly 50 percent more than November 2020), new airline and loyalty partners and millions of new Velocity Frequent Flyer members. The airline has also flown nearly 19 million customers domestically in the past 12-months – the highest in the airline’s history.
