Oscar-winning filmmaker James Cameron will showcase New Zealand in a new global video you can be sure looks as good as a movie itself.

Cameron, who describes New Zealand as “my kind of country”, is offering the world a glimpse of why it captivates him like nowhere else, as he steps in front of the lens to front a new global video.

His affiliation to New Zealand stems from a visit in the mid nineties in which he fell in love with the country’s beauty.

Cameron says, “I came as a stranger, I knew very little about New Zealand, and I left in love with it.”

A rare insight into the world that drives his creativity, the new video sees James exploring the natural wonders of the South Island, including Walking the Tasman Glacier, Kayaking through the Dart River, Cycling beside Lake Pukaki, Hiking the Routeburn Track and Visiting Mount Alfred.
