ANA’s 787-9 demonstration flight at Farnborough International Airshow

A Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner decorated with special ANA decal is set to make a demonstration flight* at the 50th Farnborough International Airshow, which will take place in Farnborough, UK, starting July 11, 2016.

The flights on July 11, 12 and 13 will mark the first time that the Japanese airline carries out a demonstration flight at the prestigious air show.

The decision to operate the demonstration flight reflects ANA’s status as the launch customer and the largest operator of 787 series of aircraft. ANA has ordered 83 of the 787 family, including 44 of the 787-9 model.

The airline currently operates 11 of the model principally on international routes. The ANA aircraft for the demonstration flight is specially outfitted in livery prominently featuring Mount Fuji with cherry blossoms, two iconic symbols of Japan.
