It’s time to get your sh*t together – WIT entries are closing in ONE WEEK!

Lauren Croft

Now listen here. We knowwwwww the event is a little earlier this year, but don’t forget about entering!

We’d hate for you to try and enter in November and get a rude shock. A very rude shock, given that entries are closing next Wednesday.

We know. Yesterday was January. We are just as shocked as you are.

And entries are closing next Wednesday 11 April at 5pm. Make sure you jot that date down (and try not to procrastinate tooooo much).

Running for the third year, these awards recognise exceptional women who have achieved astronomic success in their professional arenas and celebrates their invaluable contribution through their leadership, innovation and courage to the travel industry.

If you think you could be one of these exceptional women (and you obviously are) head right here to enter either yourself or another industry champ. But if you don’t want to enter yourself, you can nominate a friend!

A quick tip: if you don’t enter, no one will know how great you are. And if you want to spread the love about how great your industry gal pals are, nominate one of your fabulous, hard working friends right here.

You could work in any number of travel sectors: from hotels to cruise to travel agencies to airlines and everything else in between. ICYMI, there are 18 categories to enter this year:

1. Employer of the Year
2. Social Media
3. Road and Rail
4. Retail
5. Corporate
6. Rising Star of the Year
7. Marketer of the Year
8. Mentor of the Year
9. PR of the Year
10. Sales Person of the Year
11. Wholesale
12. Cruise
13. Aviation
14. Tourism Board
15. Technology
16. Hotel
17. Entrepreneur of the Year
18. Male Champion of Change

We know a sneaky few of you have started your entries on the website – but make sure you finish them in a weeks time, otherwise your entry won’t count, and you won’t win.

Unknown-1

And we know everyone wants to win, which is why we’ve written this handy reminder: entries for the 2018 Women in Travel Awards will close at 5pm Wednesday April 11. Enter right here.

So if you haven’t started your entry yet, get cracking!

This years awards will be held on June 21 at Doltone House Jones Bay Wharf. All other info can be found on the Women in Travel website here – but to lock yourself in, grab yourself an early bird ticket right here.
