Goldman Travel leads way in adding value for clients

With marketing and self-promotion becoming a more important part of travel agent business models, one agency has set the standards.

Goldman Travel Group recently partnered with LUXE City Guides on their new LUXE Directory, a tool for hotel concierge teams, travel consultants and remote concierge service providers.

The LUXE Directory is a constantly updated digital platform with over 6000 recommendations, organised by category and location.

As more travellers seek more ‘authentic’ experiences straight from the mouths of locals, the LUXe Directory hits the spot.

LUXE Directory currently covers 30 global destinations, on topics as diverse as places to stay, where to eat, things to do and how to get the most of a destination.

Resident curators on the ground in each destination ensure that content is regularly expanded, updated, and curated as personal suggestions that have been tried and tested by like-minded locals.

Content is independently sourced and includes everything from off the beaten track local haunts to the best yoga studios in a city; all listed to provide a bespoke travel experience for increasingly sophisticated travellers.

Joint Managing Director of Travelcall – Goldman Group, Anthony Goldman, said it’s a way for the agency network to offer more value to customers.

“Goldman Travel Group agencies, including Travelcall, look to add value to and enhance bookings of our clients,” he said.

“We have partnered with LUXE City Guides to provide co-branded city apps to give clients a gift for their upcoming trips.

“Moreover our concierge team will use LUXE Directory to provide our clients with the best recommendations in the cities they are travelling to.

“This collaboration is beneficial as the travel content provided by LUXE is current and at the cutting edge.”

LUXE City Guides’ CEO Simon Westcott added, “We are proud to have a strong footprint in the business-to-business market, both through co-branded versions of our print and digital guides and now with the new LUXE Directory which is designed to deliver fully customisable itineraries to our clients’ customers.

“It’s why some of the world’s best hotels, high-end travel agents and concierge services – Goldman Travel in Australia, The Peninsula Group, Citibank Prestige, regional providers of the AMEX Centurion concierge – are now partnering with us.”

LUXE Directory can be fully personalised, meaning companies can add new content and recommendations in their database, place their logos and create custom emails and PDFs to share with their clients.

LUXE Directory does not require to install any software or app, but it is simply accessible by any browser and on any device.
