CTM’s newest board member revealed

Corporate Travel Management (CTM) has announced that Marissa Peterson will join the board as a non-executive director, effective from 25 October 2022.

Peterson is president and CEO of Mission Peak Executive Consulting, a Silicon Valley leadership coaching business, and currently serves on the board of Ayers Rock Acquisition Company.

She is based in the United States and has a background in governance, technology and digital transformation, and executive development. Peterson held a number of senior executive roles at Sun Microsystems over a 17-year period, including executive vice president of Sun Services, executive vice president of worldwide operations, and chief customer advocate.

Peterson’s board experience includes past roles as chairman of optical communications solutions company, Oclaro, between 2013 and 2018, and as a non-executive director of ASX-listed Ansell, from 2006 to 2021.

She has also been a director of a range of US-based companies including Humana, Supervalu, Children’s Hospital of Stanford, Quantros and Covisint, and a Board Trustee of Kettering University.

CTM chairman, Ewen Crouch AM, said: “CTM has emerged from the pandemic as a larger, leaner and more diversified business, and now is the ideal time to add new skills and perspectives to complement the existing board.

“North America is CTM’s largest and fastest growing region, and we are pleased to have a US-based director of Marissa’s calibre join the Board.

“Her governance experience and background in technology and executive development will make an excellent contribution to the Board.”

Peterson will nominate for election as a director at CTM’s annual general meeting on 27 October 2022.
