Booking.com magic millionth property

Greydon House in Nantucket, Massachusetts is the one millionth property to be added to hotel booking site Booking.com.

The soon-to-open Greydon House is tucked away in the historic district of the picturesque island of Nantucket, just 30 miles off the coast of Cape Cod in Massachusetts. As the most recent addition to the site and now available for pre-booking, this contemporary take on a cosy village inn joins the world’s most diverse array of unique accommodation options in over 30 different categories, including everything from boats, igloos, castles, and treehouses to apartments, villas, holiday homes and resorts.

Greydon House manager Jeff David was thrilled to find out that they were Booking.com’s one millionth partner.

“Inspiring more travellers to visit Nantucket and experience it for themselves is one of the main reasons we’re in business. That’s why we decided to work with Booking.com in the first place as we know they can help us connect with more customers globally than anyone else. We’re really looking forward to working together to share both our brand and our special corner of Massachusetts with more potential guests from all over the world,” David added.

Booking.com CEO Gillian Tans added that empowering travellers with diversity and choice has always been at the core of Booking.com.

Booking.com has doubled the number of properties on its platform in just two years, today offering more than one million distinct properties that have over 23 million bookable rooms worldwide, including 7.2 million bookable rooms in homes, apartments, villas and other categories of unique places to stay.

Over 70 percent of the accommodation options on Booking.com go beyond the traditional hotel, giving travellers the widest choice of great accommodations, with over one billion guests having stayed at a Booking.com property since the site was born.

Booking.com is celebrating this milestone with the launch of a global campaign to give one lucky customer the chance to spend a week in the one-in-a-million Booking.com property of their choice.

To enter, customers need only to name their dream property on Booking.com via their favourite social media channel (Facebook – by commenting under each campaign post, Twitter, Instagram) using both the hashtags #BookingLoves and #million.
