Travellers Choice has increased investment in email marketing platforms for its members to communicate with their customers.

Travellers Choice agency owner Hayley Morris says that email marketing is the biggest generator of bookings.

"Each Friday my Sisterhood Women’s Travel operation sends out a ‘Friday Hot Flush’ and if it ever runs late we have quite a few upset sisters,” Morris said.

The email program is called TC Direct and allows agents to customize up to 3,000 email newsletters and news flashes, an increase of 50% in their monthly allowance.

"Email marketing has proved to be a smart and highly efficient way for our members to promote their products, services and in-store activity,” Travellers Choice marketing manager Robyn Mitchell said.

Members who wish to send more than 3,000 a month are now able to at 1.5 cents, half the cost of previous TC Direct prices.

“I am confident we will see members continue to undertake more activities, while constantly building their now well-established customer databases," Mitchell added.
