TravelManagers smashes sales record
By admin

TravelManagers has enjoyed a bumper sales week, with the company's home-based agents shattering its previous weekly record, set back in late February, by 11.5%. The sales high came courtesy of a spike in corporate travel bookings.

TravelManagers chairman Barry Mayo told Travel Today that the figure for the week of November 11 to 17 eclipsed the same week in 2012 by more than 80%.

"We’re thrilled with these results as it shows the professionalism and calibre of our personal travel managers who have taken everything we’ve given them and leveraged it into sales,” TravelManagers executive general manager Michael Gazal (pictured) said.

The company now has 420 home-based agents country-wide and is well placed to welcome 500 agents into the fold in the near future.

“We’re expecting these sales figures to further cement our standing in the industry and we are also expecting more interest in our business model from travel agency owner/managers looking to lower their operating costs and improve their income," Gazal said.
