Travel Indochina guarantees small group departures

Travel Indochina guarantees small group departures
By admin

More than 1000 guaranteed tour departures feature in the 2014/15 Small Group Journey program from Travel Indochina with the move designed to offer agents and travellers “peace of mind”.

It is the latest wholesale company to introduce the measure, following operators such as G Adventures and Gecko's Adventures.

“We know that in the past, the lack of certainty could be a challenge, sometimes impacting the ability to secure competitive airfare deals,” managing director Paul Hole said.

“By moving to guaranteed departures for all our Small Group Journeys, we’re imparting confidence amongst our passengers that they can complete their bookings as far in advance as they’d like to secure the best airfares possible and to make all other necessary arrangements. The sheer range of departure dates has been designed to ensure there’s something on offer for everyone at any time of year to best fit their holiday plans.”

In addition, the operator is guaranteeing that all tour groups with a minimum of seven passengers will now be accompanied by a Western tour leader.

“We know from surveys conducted with our passengers that the calibre and knowledge of our Western Tour Leaders is one of our key points of difference, so it was important for us to be able to extend their involvement to as many departures as possible,” Hole said.

A range of new Insider Experiences has also been introduced, including a visit to a local salt field in Cambodia, while a number of special departures have been scheduled to coincide with festivals such as Pushkar in India in October and Mongolia’s Naadam Festival in Mongolia.

The program features 70 itineraries across 11 different countries, including many cross border trips.
