Travel Counsellors recognised its top performing agents at a glittering awards ceremony during the company’s annual conference which took place at the Crown Melbourne earlier this month.

There were eight awards given to agents in recognition of their performance and achievements. These included the titles of ‘Best Corporate Travel Counsellor’ and ‘Best Leisure Travel Counsellor’, which were presented to Queensland based Travel Counsellor Nadine Kutz and Victoria based Rosemary Metcalf respectively.

Kutz was chosen out of 115 Travel Counsellors for achieving more than $5 million in corporate business sales over the past 12 months.

“I am thrilled to receive the award and it’s so nice and motivating to be recognised in such a way for all the hard work I put into to building my business,” she said.

Tracy Parkinson, general manager at Travel Counsellors Australia, underlined the importance of recognising agents for their hard work and dedication.

“The business continues to go from strength to strength, which is testament to the high calibre of our advisors within the Travel Counsellors family in Australia,” she said.

“We look forward to seeing the business grow even further over the next 12 months.”

Other winners included Christine Jenkins for Best Phenix; Suzanne Watson, Best Margin; Liz van-Boxel, Best Business Increase; Cheryl Andrews, Best Newcomer; David Phillips, Most Helpful Travel Counsellor and Hayley Voll, Best TC Score.
