Luxperience shows off new brand, holds off replacing CEO
By admin

Luxperience has unveiled new branding and overhauled its website as part of a “continued evolution” to be the "best global travel event", but the show's founder has decided against bringing in a new ceo to run operations, sources said.

Following "extensive" research, the brand essence was "refined to impart elegance and bespoke prestige with sophistication and timelessness grounded in experience", the company stated.

"The impetus for the re-brand reflects our commitment to providing a relatable platform to our discerning clients," Director of Marketing and Buyer Relations, Michelle Papas said.

The annual event has had numerous changes in leadership since its conception in 2011. Most recently ceo, Lindy Andrews, who held the title since October 1 2013, resigned shortly after the most recent September 2014 show. Papas and the existing team members are seemingly running operations.

Helen Logas, founder and former ceo had opted to take a background role after promoting Andrews to the helm, has decided not to bring in another ceo, according to sources.

Meanwhile, Luxperience 2015 is set to introduce a "new and improved" program focused on thought leadership and enhanced networking opportunities.

"With new partnership discussions in place, an exciting new program and a 56% increase in trade buyer attendance planned for 2015, members of the Luxperience community can look forward to bigger and better show,” Eric Lewanavanua, Director of Sales and Partner Alliances said.

Exhibitors can take up an early bird offer, available until 26 November 2014. The exhibition will be held at the Australian Technology Park from 6-9 September 2015.
