AFTA revamps website ahead of ATAS launch
By admin

The Australian Federation of Travel Agents has issued a reminder that its final round of ATAS workshops will open in early May, as it unveiled its revamped website.

The new website features improved navigation and accessibility, industry news, NTIA dedicated event pages and information about the new ATAS scheme. It also provides agents with the opportunity to register for the May series of workshops.

The “Becoming Travel Accredited” workshops will outline how travel intermediaries can apply to become accredited under the new scheme, with the new AFTA website also to be showcased along with the online application process and ATAS marketing initiatives.

Attendeees will also be provided with an overview of the consumer awareness campaign that will support the scheme’s official launch from July 1.

The workshops will enable agents to “make an informed decision about becoming ATAS accredited”, according to AFTA.

The schedule is as follows: Mercure King George Brisbane, May 15 11am-1pm; Novotel Langley Perth, May 20 9am-11am; Crowne Plaza Adelaide, May 21 10am–12pm; Rydges Melbourne, May 28 10am-12pm; Vibe Hotel Sydney May 29 10am-12pm.

To register, click here.

Those unable to make it to any of the workshops can register for a webinar session instead on Wednesday June 4. For more information or to register for the webinar, visit the AFTA website.

The new website features improved navigation and accessibility, and provides agents with the opportunity to register for the May series of workshops.
