A girls' guide to Dubai
By admin

In response to a rising number of female travellers interested in Dubai, Dubai Tourism has launched a ‘Girls Guide to Dubai’ supplement to coincide with the first day of Luxperience.

The supplement, published by Luxury Travel Magazine, will be available exclusively to all buyers at Luxperience, and will also be distributed later this year in the January edition of the magazine.

Dubai Tourism Australia and New Zealand director Julie King said this supplement will mark the first of a series that will showcase Dubai in a way that caters for all consumers, with female travellers the focus of the first instalment.

“The objectives of the guides is to showcase the diversity of Dubai and highlight the array of activities in which consumers of this interest area can undertake, which require a minimum of four days,” King said.

“The guide will also assist us in dispelling misconceptions of the emirate and includes insider’s views from two prominent Australian ladies who live in Dubai; Donna Benton (CEO of The Entertainer) and Karen MacLean (Secret Food Squirrel – Food Blogger).”

The ‘Girls Guide to Dubai’ will incorporate travel trips on topics such as clothing, currency and taxis, and guides on experiences and attractions for every kind of traveller.

The guide caters for women interested in all areas of Dubai, including the beach, pampering, adrenaline activities, nature, food, nightlife, shopping, art and culture.

Festivals and events are also featured, with an emphasis on the key range of annual events that appeal to ladies such as the Dubai Shopping Festival, Dubai Food Festival, Art Dubai, Dubai World Cup, Fashion Forward and OMEGA Dubai Ladies Masters.
