The Luxury Travel Collection has been officially launched at a Champagne celebration at Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour this week.

Global managing director of the Luxury Travel Collection, Danielle Galloway welcomed 80 guests at the event, including the first luxury independent businesses to join, sharing her vision and inspiration behind the Luxury Travel Collection which unites successful luxury travel brands.

“This business model was inspired by the incredible House of LVMH, a business which has 75 distinguished Maisons, each with its own distinctive personality and brand, and each one highly successful,” Galloway, said.

“We are building the LVMH of luxury travel.

“This is our way of bringing the best of the best travel businesses together and nurturing the fame and distinctive personality of each one.

“We are embracing the differential of each brand, knowing they are united by a common goal to deliver an exceptional luxury travel experience.”

“The luxury house of travel brands was a concept embraced by CEO Graham Turner whose long-term vision and passion is to “Open up the world to those who want to see it.

“We have been supported on this journey to build a bright future for luxury travel by joining brands of all shapes and sizes, allowing each one to flourish, and forging the future pathway together.

“This event is such a wonderful opportunity to welcome and thank every single Member, Partner and Supplier in the room and to reinforce your importance to our luxury House. We cannot wait to work closely with you on this journey.”

General manager of the independent member portfolio of LTC, Nikki Glading, welcomed the new independent members, who all share in the vision of a strong future for luxury travel.

“Tonight, we are celebrating an amazing group of hand-selected independent members that have joined our purpose-built luxury house, based on common vision and luxury credentials,” she said.

“Our goal is to continue listening to the needs of our brands and our clients and ensure that we build the right foundations for future growth.

“This portfolio of Australia’s finest independent brands – Bicton Travel, Claremont Travel and Cruise, Destination HQ, Dream Maker Travel, Emma Whiting Travel and Cruise, Travel Experts, and Home Travel Company – will now sit alongside Travel Associates, Scott Dunn and Luxperience.”

“There is no other similar, holistic offer in market that is defined by luxury consumer needs. Our desire is for inclusivity rather than exclusivity, as we are building a global portfolio for true luxury travelers,” Danielle Galloway said.

The Luxury Travel Collection would like to sincerely thank both Regent Seven Seas and Oceania Cruises for supporting the event.
