Sail Croatia adds new luxury yachts to bolster fleet ahead of European summer
Edited by Travel Weekly

Small ship specialist Sail Croatia has added three brand new vessels to its yachting portfolio for 2024, following strong demand for its private yacht tours.

The UK-based business, which offers small ship cruising, bareboat charter, flotilla sailing and skippered private yacht tours around Croatia, had previously announced the addition of a new luxury cruise ship for 2024.

The two new luxury catamarans and brand-new yacht will arrive in time for the start of the Summer 2024 season, increasing the company’s impressive sailing fleet to 19 vessels.

All three boats will operate seven-night private yacht tours, ideal for families or groups of friends looking for a sailing holiday in the Adriatic. The services of a fully qualified skipper are included, meaning no sailing experience is necessary, and guests can simply sit back, relax and enjoy the stunning coastline.

There are no fixed itineraries for the trips, guests can liaise with their knowledgeable Captain who will choose a route that best suits their wishes.

Croatia continues to grow in popularity as a holiday destination and it is not hard to see why,” director, Sail Croatia, Grant Seuren, said.

The combination of calm, crystal clear waters, picturesque towns and dramatic scenery ensure there is plenty to explore, whatever your interests.

“Sailing on a luxury catamaran or yacht allows you to choose your own itinerary and see the very best of the Dalmatian coast at your own pace.”

Among the new vessels are Hound Dog, a Lagoon 46 catamaran and Slice of Heaven, a Lagoon 55 catamaran, which will become the largest in the Sail Croatia fleet. Both vessels can accommodate up to eight guests plus a skipper and a host if needed.

Meanwhile, Morpheus (named after the god of dreams!) is a brand new Hanse 548 yacht accommodating up to six guests in three cabins.

Private Yacht tours on Hound Dog, a spacious catamaran start from $14,905 for the 8th and 15th April 2024 departures based on 8 people sharing – a price of approx $1863 per person for the seven-night trip.

Those looking for a sailing yacht can spend seven nights on Morpheus from $9,607 total for the 8th and 15th April 2024 departures, based on six people sharing – approx $1600 per person.

Prices include the seven-night sailing trip from Split, airport transfers, the services of a qualified skipper, damage waiver insurance, fuel and local taxes.
