Edited by Travel Weekly

Exclusive discount of $250 per-person on a range of departures in 2024 – 60 per cent of 2024 departures already guaranteed to operate – 160 per cent year on year growth reported.

Back-Roads Touring, the small group touring experts across the UK & Europe, has today announced the launch of its ‘Discover a New Local’ promotion, offering early booking savings of $250 per person.

The vast discount is applicable on all tours (excluding May and September departures) booked between Wednesday, 4th October until Wednesday, 15th November 2023. Additional Loyalty discounts are also applicable alongside the ‘Discover a New Local promotion’ for customers who have travelled with Back-Roads Touring before or those who are booking a multi-tour holiday.

For over 30 years, Back-Roads Touring has perfected its off the beaten track itineraries, taking groups of up to 18 guests to remote places, avoiding large crowds and overpopulated tourist hotspots. The ‘Discover a New Local’ promotion encourages clients to immerse themselves in a new destination next year by showcasing the best places to dine locally, the stunning remote landscapes, and by delving even further into Europe’s rich history and culture.

60 per cent of Back-Road Touring’s 2024 departures are already guaranteed to operate next year, following substantial 160 per cent year on year growth, with more departures regularly being added. Tuscan Treats is proving particularly popular for next year, with a 240 per cent increase in bookings compared to 2022.

The small group specialists are also reporting a 90 per cent increase in bookings on their spectacular Norway: Fjords and Glaciers departures.

David Gendle at Back-Roads Touring said: “We are delighted to offer this gift to our loyal customers, especially as it is also applicable alongside our multi-tour and past customer discounts too. Savings will be substantial, so we encourage our customers to book their dream now to secure the best price possible.

We are excited to be heading into 2024 in a very strong position, with an extensive number of guaranteed departures already confirmed.”

Back-Roads Touring groups are deliberately small so every customer can get the most out of their tour. There is also the option to enjoy the benefits of travelling in the shoulder season – lower prices, milder weather, and fewer crowds. Solo travellers will all feel welcome on these sociable tours and will not be overwhelmed by travelling in a large group.

Back-Roads Touring trips offer so much more than traditional tours. Passionate and attentive tour leaders will guide customers to well-known locations to unravel stories, reveal secrets, embrace fascinating cultures, taste delicious local flavours and wander across unexplored terrain.

Each tour includes transportation by premium mini-coach and the very best tour leaders throughout.

Agents can book with certainty with the assurance of Back-Roads Touring’s flexible booking policies which covers unlimited no fee changes and 60-day cancellation protection. Bookings can be confirmed with an affordable deposit and customers have up to 60 days before departure to pay the full balance.
