Fresh snow dump accelerates season opener at Falls Creek

Fresh snow dump accelerates season opener at Falls Creek

Thanks to a helping hand from Mother Nature this week, Falls Creek is excited to open its resort for ski and snowboarders this week.

Last week, snowstorms delivered a whopping 36cm of fresh snow, topped up by 20cm of snow falling in the last 48 hours, coating the slopes in a fresh layer of pow and up to 30cm of snow expected to fall today.

Halley’s Comet Quad Chair, Towers Quad Chair and Mouse Trap Carpet are up and running, giving skiers and boarders access to Wombats Ramble, Main Street, Highway 83, Nastar and Mouse Trap runs.

All snow sports lessons are now available for those wanting to try skiing and boarding for the first time. As always, make sure you book your lessons online and in advance, so you don’t miss out!

Epic Australia Pass holders are reminded to make the most of their pass and tell their mates as every pass holder, including students and seniors, qualifies for 6 ‘Bring A Mate’ single-day lift tickets, which are now 50% off for over half the season.

Pass holders enjoy:

– 6 Bring a Mate discount invitations

– 20% off group and private lessons

– 20% off equipment rental

– 15% off retail purchases

– Free night skiing!
