Disney Cruise Line announced today a new season of cruises coming to the shores of Australia and New Zealand from October 2024 through February 2025.

Returning by popular demand, Disney Magic at Sea will bring enchantment and cherished Disney friends to local shores for a special season of two- to seven-night cruises, sailing from Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, Australia, and Auckland, New Zealand on board the Disney Wonder.

The announcement follows the incredible response to Disney Cruise Line’s inaugural Australia and New Zealand season that will commence in late October 2023.

“We were thrilled by the incredible response to our inaugural sailings in Australia and New Zealand and can’t wait to return in October 2024,” said Sharon Siskie, senior vice president and general manager, Disney Cruise Line. “We look forward to bringing the magic of Disney to this beautiful part of the world as we welcome both returning guests and those who are new to our special brand of family cruising.”

Guests sailing aboard the Disney Wonder will be immersed in the magic of Disney storytelling with unforgettable character encounters, imaginative world-class dining and award-winning entertainment, all presented at sea. Celebrated for its classic design and modern innovation, the Disney Wonder is home to 11 decks featuring restaurants, pools and recreation spaces that are designed to inspire and entertain guests of all ages.

Families will meet friends from Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars and watch as favourite Disney stories come to life in Broadway-style shows at the Walt Disney Theatre, including “Frozen: A Musical Spectacular.”

Tiana’s Place restaurant, exclusive to Disney Wonder, treats guests to New Orleans-inspired cuisine and live music entertainment and offers the opportunity to meet Princess Tiana herself. Animator’s Palate celebrates Disney animation with an innovative show where the restaurant’s surroundings awaken with colour and characters, and Triton’s presents continental cuisine with French flair in an elegant dining room inspired by Disney’s “The Little Mermaid.”

Adults even have their own exclusive spaces to rest and relax, including an adults-only pool area, sophisticated dining and the rejuvenating Senses Spa & Salon.

Disney Magic at Sea sailings depart from four home ports across Australia and New Zealand, bringing the magic of Disney even closer to local shores. The 2024-2025 itineraries include a new seven-night cruise and select sailings that include ports of call at Hobart (TAS), Eden (NSW) and Noumea (New Caledonia).

The new season of Disney Magic at Sea Australia and New Zealand cruises will set sail from October 19, 2024. Bookings will open for general sale from Tuesday, June 27, 2023.
