Flight Centre-owned DMC, Discova, announces three role developments

    Global destination management specialist Discova has announced three exciting role developments within the company.

    • Rhydian James – Chief Commercial Officer (he previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer).
    • Nick Shuttleworth – Vice President of Sales for North America and Australia/New Zealand (previously North America Business Development Leader).
    • Karla Wilson -Account Manager for Australia/New Zealand (new to Discova)

    Rhydian James has been with Discova as CFO since 2018 and has been instrumental in the company’s growth and development. His new role as chief commercial officer will see him focus on partner growth initiatives, partner experience and new business opportunities. He will also help partners provide points of difference by encompassing Discova’s experiential products in their range.

    Nick Shuttleworth has been a member of Discova’s team since 2018 and has primarily served in the United States playing a key role in helping the company establish a strong foothold in the American market. In his new role now based in Melbourne, Nick will lead the sales and account management functions for both the North American and Australia/New Zealand regions. Nick’s deep understanding of the American and Australian markets will help continue to drive Discova’s global expansion.

    Karla Wilson joins Discova with 15+ years of experience within the travel industry and will play an important role in supporting Discova’s travel agent business and continued growth within the Australian and New Zealand market. “We feel very lucky to have someone of Karla’s experience and industry knowledge join our team and continue to grow our business within the Australian and New Zealand markets,” said Nick Shuttleworth.

    Discova is a global destination management company, owned by the Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG).

    It offers tailored B2B in-destination services for tour operators and travel agents in 15 destinations through Asia and the Americas.
