Cruise company asks guests to refrain from sharing porn content filmed on board

Royal Caribbean and Atlantis Events are asking guests onboard their latest gay cruise event to refrain from filming and posting pornographic content filmed onboard.

They’ve called on “a team of volunteers” to hunt down porn content that’s been filmed on one of their ships.

The new rule has appeared in the new onboard handbook handed out to guests onboard Harmony of the Seas.

“While we want everyone to have fun, there are limits and so we ask that you be respectful of all guests and our cruise partners. Please do not post anything explicitly sexual on social media in a public forum or other online space.”

And, it’s not just a warning. Breaking the rule can result in punishment.

“(Guests who) post or publish an explicit and publicly visible photo or video will be asked to leave the ship with no refund.

“This also applies to any private media posts (whether or not behind a paywall) that identify or could identify either Atlantis, our vendor brands, their properties, or any other guests with or without permission.”

Royal Caribbean International said it and Atlantis Events together established this policy to protect the safety and privacy of all guests onboard.

The volunteer team will report any posts which appear to be filmed onboard the gay cruise.
