Hawai‘i Tourism Oceania announces dates for ‘Aloha Down Under’ roadshow 2022

Travel agents can now save the date for Australia and New Zealand’s biggest annual Hawai‘i Roadshow, Aloha Down Under, which will run from the 22nd to 29th August 2022.

Presented by Hawai‘i Tourism Oceania (HTO), the roadshow celebrates its 10th anniversary this year and will visit Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Auckland.

Jennifer Gaskin, account director for Hawai’i Tourism Oceania (HTO), said that Hawai‘i’s overwhelming popularity with Australian and New Zealand travellers makes the Aloha Down Under Roadshow an event not to be missed.

“After a 2-year hiatus, we are seeing an overall optimism and confidence from Australians and New Zealanders who are ready to travel internationally again,” Gaskin said.

“The Hawaiian Islands are such a desired travel destination for the Oceania market and Aloha Down Under is the perfect opportunity for agents to become well-versed in the destination and make contacts with key representatives from Hawai‘i.”

The roadshow’s five-day program will bring together 14 representatives from accommodation, airline and activity suppliers and includes a dedicated B2B function as well as a media lunch event in Sydney.

Attendees will have the opportunity to network with Hawai‘i suppliers, enjoy live Hawaiian entertainment, get all the latest destination updates from the Hawai‘i Tourism Oceania team and have multiple opportunities to win exciting holiday prizes to Hawaii!
